Ilfracombe Revisited

 

On October 13th the club returned to Ilfracombe for our Autumn Break 2021. We stayed for five nights and had five days of wonderful weather, the rain only starting to creep in as we headed home on Monday morning.

There were thirty five members in attendance, many of whom were experiencing their first "Weekend Away" with the group.

The walking, though challenging at times, was generally considered to be some of the finest we have done, and a few of our number made time for a boat trip to the nearby island of Lundy.

The hotel staff looked after us very well, led by the wonderful Maria, and a great time was had by all.

Many thanks to Luba for all the hardwork done on her first time organising one of these holidays, and to all walk leaders too.
